About the Cow

Cows are large domesticated ungulates that have been bred for thousands of years for meat, milk, and labor. These gentle giants are more intelligent than they're often given credit for, capable of problem-solving and forming strong social bonds. Cows are herbivores with a complex digestive system that allows them to extract nutrients from grass and other plant matter. They spend a significant portion of their day grazing and ruminating, or chewing their cud. Cows are known for their distinctive 'moo' vocalization, which they use for various types of communication.
