About the Rabbit
Rabbits are small mammals known for their long ears, powerful hind legs, and quick reproduction. Found in a variety of environments around the world, rabbits can be wild, domesticated pets, or raised for meat and fur. They are herbivores, with diets consisting mainly of grass and leafy plants. Rabbits are crepuscular, meaning they are most active at dawn and dusk. They have a unique digestive system that allows them to extract maximum nutrients from their plant-based diet, including the practice of coprophagy - eating their own droppings to digest their food twice. In the wild, rabbits live in underground burrow systems called warrens. They are social animals and use a variety of vocalizations and body language to communicate.
